Passwords are hashed and salted by our authentication service. Taska never sees or stores your password in readable form, and repeated failed sign-ins are rate limited.

Protect your account with a one-time code from an authenticator app or SMS, so a stolen password alone is not enough to sign in.

You will also get ten single-use recovery codes so losing your phone never locks you out of Taska.

Sessions expire automatically and tokens refresh in the background. Every sign-in, sign-out and password change is written to our append-only security log.

Delete account

What gets deleted

  • • Your privacy preferences and saved searches
  • • Your identity verification record
  • • Your login credentials

What we must keep, and why

  • • Payment and task records — up to 6 years, financial and tax law
  • • Dispute and safety records — to protect other users
  • • Fraud-prevention markers — so a banned account cannot simply return
