Community Guidelines
Taska connects people who need work completed with skilled people and service providers in their local communities. As our community grows, maintaining a safe, respectful and reliable marketplace is essential.
These guidelines explain the standards of behaviour and responsibilities expected from everyone using Taska. Taska provides the technology and marketplace that helps Customers and Taskers connect — but a trustworthy community requires cooperation from everyone. Users must cooperate with reasonable requests from Taska Support and respond within an appropriate timeframe when information is required.
Illegal tasks, fraud, harassment, hate or discrimination, suspicious behaviour, prohibited services, contact details shared publicly, attempts to take tasks outside Taska, fake accounts or inappropriate content.
Customers must create tasks that are legal, clear, accurate, respectful and appropriate for the Taska marketplace.
Tasks must be legal
🚫 Prohibited tasks (examples — list maintained by Taska per country)
📝 Clear task description
Provide a title, clear description, location, preferred date and time, budget and photos where useful. Explain what needs doing, where, when, important requirements and any risks.
💰 Budget
Give a realistic budget. The final agreed amount must always be visible within Taska — never arrange hidden payments outside the platform.
🚫 No advertising
Task posts must be genuine requests for work — not advertising, lead generation, recruiting users away from Taska, harvesting information or redirecting to external websites.
Taska is built to help people safely connect, get work done and build trusted local communities. Please keep your task arrangements, communications and payments within Taska and treat every member of the community with respect.
