Taska is committed to building a safe, transparent and trusted marketplace. Users must act responsibly, provide accurate information, respect other community members and comply with applicable laws and Taska policies.

Draft for legal review. Written for Nigeria first (NDPA 2023, FCCPA 2018, CBN payment rules) with a United Kingdom notice (UK GDPR, Consumer Rights Act 2015). It must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal professionals in each country before Taska launches there.

What you can report

  • Payment disputes
  • Task disputes
  • Safety issues
  • Fraud
  • Harassment
  • Property damage
  • Policy violations

Case references

Every case receives a Taska reference — TASKA-SUP for support and complaints, TASKA-INC for incidents, TASKA-PR for privacy requests. Each case links the Task ID, User IDs, description, evidence, authorised message excerpts and supporting documents. Sensitive information is available only to authorised personnel and every access is logged.

How a dispute is handled

1. Payment on the task is frozen. 2. Both sides are asked for their account and evidence. 3. A Taska moderator decides on release, refund or a split, records the reason and notifies both parties. 4. Either party may appeal from Account status.

Appeals

You can see the reason for any enforcement, the duration where applicable, and submit an appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a different administrator where possible.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (Nigeria), the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (United Kingdom) or other applicable consumer laws, including the right to go to court or an approved dispute-resolution body.
