Taska is committed to building a safe, transparent and trusted marketplace. Users must act responsibly, provide accurate information, respect other community members and comply with applicable laws and Taska policies.

Draft for legal review. Written for Nigeria first (NDPA 2023, FCCPA 2018, CBN payment rules) with a United Kingdom notice (UK GDPR, Consumer Rights Act 2015). It must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal professionals in each country before Taska launches there.

What Protection & Safety is

Taska Protection & Safety is a set of platform safeguards: identity verification, payment holding until completion, contact-detail blocking, dispute review and human-reviewed incident reporting. It is not an insurance policy. Insurance cover is described on the Protection page only when an authorised policy is active in your country, and its wording is controlled by Taska administrators.

Eligibility

Protection applies only to tasks booked, agreed and paid inside Taska, with a verified Customer and Tasker, and reported within the time limits shown on the Protection page. Exclusions and any excess are published per country and category.

Reporting an incident

Report from the task, the hire page or the Protection page. You receive a TASKA-INC reference. Evidence is stored privately; only the parties and authorised staff can see it. Taska never approves or promises cover automatically — every case is reviewed by a person and, where an insurer is involved, decided under the insurer's claims process.

Disclaimer

Protection & Safety is provided in good faith and subject to legal review in each country before launch.
