Taska is committed to building a safe, transparent and trusted marketplace. Users must act responsibly, provide accurate information, respect other community members and comply with applicable laws and Taska policies.

Draft for legal review. Written for Nigeria first (NDPA 2023, FCCPA 2018, CBN payment rules) with a United Kingdom notice (UK GDPR, Consumer Rights Act 2015). It must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal professionals in each country before Taska launches there.

Offer prices

Taskers make clear offers based on the agreed scope of work. Negotiation, counteroffers, changes to an agreement and additional work (Task Variations) must stay inside Taska.

Fees

Customers pay the task price plus the Taska Connection Fee. Taskers pay a service fee deducted from the task price on release. Both fees are percentages set by Taska administrators, always displayed before payment and before an offer is submitted, and may vary by category. Fees apply to new transactions only.

Secure payments

Where Taska provides a payment system, funds are processed by approved payment providers (currently Flutterwave) and held under Taska's payment arrangement until the Customer confirms the work is complete. Payment handling complies with applicable laws and the capabilities of the provider. Taska does not describe this arrangement as a regulated escrow service unless and until it is legally authorised to do so.

No payments outside Taska

Do not pay or accept payment in cash or by direct transfer outside Taska. Off-platform payments have no Taska protection and are a breach of the Community Guidelines.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is set out in the Cancellation Policy. Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible or to your Taska wallet.
